But if half of the family doesn’t like the movie you picked to watch – you have an employee alignment problem.

First, you can help everyone at the company understand our mission, vision, and strategic goals by communicating them clearly.

When you align everyone’s efforts – it’s kind of like a group effort in which everyone is moving in the same direction. I have seen this for myself in previous projects – when the bigger picture is clear, even small tasks feel valuable.

So, we group goals into three types: organizational, team-specific, and personal. I really like the SMART method because it keeps your goals specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and timely – this method acts like a guide that lets you break down your big ideas into manageable steps.
