Pinewood Derby '97 Fallbrook Mall
Here are images from our '97 Y- Indian Guide Pinewood Derby, held at Fallbrook Mall in West Hills. I had always wanted to do a Pinewood Derby when I was a kid. So naturally I used this as an excuse to practice over-achievement and spend way too many hours building the ultimate Pinewood Derby Racer. (I just barely let Tyler touch it... (joke))

Hard work pays off. We won both our heats. The certificate is for Best Design. Allllllll Rrrrright! (Bad hair day for both of us)

I already have plans for next year's Pinewood Derby racer. I am pleased to say that it will be much easier to build, take less time, a lot of the work will be done by Tyler, and it will actually be much cooler than this year's car. Come back next year to see it.
